Day 79 / Week 12 - Saving our planet one day at a time.

As with every Wednesday morning, I hardly get any sleep and therefore consistently suffer in my "RTP challenge status results" . I'm usually sleeping good though-out the week, but since I exclusively work the Tuesday evening shift till 11:30pm, I don't get to bed till 12:30am - then have to wake up the next morning for 5:30am. There is nothing much I can do about getting enough sleep for this day, but still willing to take that sacrifice as I really enjoy my Tuesday mornings/afternoons. Let me put this in perspective, the wifey is gone to work(since 6 am) so that leaves me pretty much the whole day for myself, right? =) Just like the ol' saying "While the cat's away, the mouse will play". =) If you are married, you will understand. If not, your time will come. ;-)

Anyhow, completed yet another challenging workout. I have again increased the weight by 10% and have proven no difficulty to the extra weight. I also had exceeded the workout time by 20 min as I had to go the bank. I had my car, but figured it would be pretty pathetic of me to use the car, when the bank is just a 10min blade away. So I strapped on the blades, ran my errand and came back. If this situation was 3 months ago(pre rtp system), I would have definitely grabbed the car without even thinking about wasted gas, killing the ozone and pushing it 1 more degree to global warming. So, I guess by default I am thinking "green" at the same time by blading. Ahh whatever.... So, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's cardio - it's a full hour and it's gonna be a perfect sunny day to go blading. 5 more days till I celebrate! =)
