I recently again spoke with the personal trainer and was advised that it may help to burn 'extra' calories with a pedometer. This device probably would have been best when I 1st started, as it would have been not only a great tool to keep track of each calorie burned by walking, running and etc., but also a visual tool to keep me focused on my goal of losing the extra pounds.
In regards to my commitments for the day, I completed weight training working on calves, shoulders, back, quads, abs and 15 min cardio. I was going to do all cardio today, but figured I would complete it tomorrow instead.
Seventeen more days till I hit that beach... =)
